I feel sorry for Ole Miss. Arkansas is just scratching the surface of what it can do and Ole Miss has reached its ceiling. Maybe you should spend some of that money on a better QB then paying it all to a mediocre Dlineman.

I know you aren't looking for reasonable thoughts, but here goes anyway.
We became a terrible team the day BP drove his bike and gf in the ditch. It has been an up and down since with no expectation of quick success. Just a hope that BB could recruit, build, and with time make us competitive again while playing grown man football in a grown man conference.
It appears that hope is well on it's way to coming to fruition much quicker than we anticipated. This is based on the results of this season in comparison with last season and the eye test.
We see that we are a physically formidable team that will be a factor for years to come.
You see it, too!

That's what Arkansas has paid Bert the past 2 years for back to back last place finishes...
It isn't, but thanks for your concern.

Freeze has beaten every SECw team since inheriting a team that went 0-8 and 1-7 its last 2 years under Hootie... You think Bert will be able to say that after next year ?

we are paying him $6m to rebuild our program and he's doing it, kicking your arse in the process, a year sooner than expected.

Bert will never win anything of significance, but he doesn't have to. They're Arky. They just want a win or two a year so they can troll fans. He's the perfect guy for that.
Exactly. He will take them back to Petrino type seasons. They'll be good, not great, but the fans will be satisfied. That's a winning formula for any coach.

3 million dollars per SEC win is pretty steep... If you beat Mizzou it becomes 2 mil per conference win.. That's a little better

I'm sure a large portion of it is ribs, pizza sticks and funnel cakes but when you consider the cash value of those items it's pretty close

We just took a dump all over your dream season with one of the worst teams we've had in years, and you're trying to talk shite?
Bert has way more upside, enjoy getting curbstomped for years to come.

2.5 million was based solely on shutting out ole miss

So another quarter mil for beating LSU and the last quarter mil was for the moral victory over Bama ? Makes sense
