It would be interesting to look up what star ranking each one of those guys were. Granted guys like Murray and Latt were highly-touted but I'd be interested to see about the whole list.

They listed Stone and not James on the OL?

Stone played about 1/4 of the snaps James did.

Probably less competition at C than at RT is why Stone made it and James didn't.

These freshman lists basically mean which team had depth issues so bad that freshman were forced to play. Guys like Lattimore are the rare exception.

For example, Daren Bates won a bunch of freshman awards last year even though he isn't that good. Just got a lot of PT because of our non existent depth on D.

Mathieu was a nickelback so I don't have that big of a problem with him being left off. Haven't really seen many of the non sec guys play so I can't really judge either. Woods and Jeffcoat are studs though.

No he didn't.
