It never too early to set the narrative to poo poo on Mizzou success.

No I have a problem with your shitty fricking fan base, piss poor excuse for facilities in the SEC, and a tradition of failing in big games. Then having to listen to sacks of shite like you think you're entitled to something because you in the SEC. Win a championship for a change and don't choke on the big stage as you have historically done and maybe you might get an ounce of respect but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Eh, his problem is that you (general you) violate a cultural norm. Just winning your division has never been something to boast about in the SEC. That's not something people are saying to put Mizzou down or belittle the accomplishment. It's just the way it's always been. In fact, until the last two years we weren't a 'divided' conference. Divisions never mattered and were more a who you played kinda thing than the weird arse thing the press and those buying into the bs have suddenly created.
As a general social norm that goes beyond football, the Southeast frowns on bragging and if you do brag you better have earned the right by actually bragging about a real accomplishment. So constantly talking about winning a division can come across as an unjustified boast and grate on people, especially those who are a bit older. **FWIW, I'm not accusing you of bragging about it but rather attempting to explain the reaction you're getting.

No, if we are going to be really honest people are just mad the new guy just won back to back SEC East divions. It really blew up the popular narrative when Mizzou joined the SEC.
Im not bragging. Just making fun of people who just got bent out of shape in this thread at the mere thought of Mizzou winning a third straight SEC East title in a random blog. You say Division titles dont mean shite then why do people spend so much time creating "reasons and excuses" for why Mizzou won back to back? Or why all the vitriol period towards Mizzou in general?

Oh I don't disagree that's some of it although for older folks you do violate those cultural norms but I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone outside of the East would care if you win or not. It honestly looks like you've managed to piss off the West more than the East and that makes very little sense. Alabama has no interest in whether you win or not so his reaction likely has a bit more behind it than you're the new guy.
