he's currently the 2nd ranked JUCO in the country. He's down to UGA and FSU and was supposed to announce Friday, but moved his decision up to tomorrow. Don't know if this is good or bad. He just visited Georgia for the GALA which is good, but he's long been thought to be a FSU lean. If we land him it would be huge, he could step in immediately in place of Justin Houston.

I thought Alabama was going to get him, but he wants to enroll early. We have no room for anymore to enroll early.

Feels like a James Wilder situation to me, meaning it looks like it could go either way but might favor FSU more. Idk, maybe since Wilder pulled all that shite wearing red and black then announcing FSU, karma will do the dawgs a service and see Tank choose UGA

If he goes to FSU do they end up with the best class in the nation?

At least our highly rated players do well on their own and in the draft Greg Reid is the only one for FSU in recent memory to not completely fizzle out after being highly touted and going to FSU

No idea, I don't even know one person they've got committed. I know that if we close like we should we should end up top 5. Getting Carradine certainly wouldn't hurt.

No. Alabama is going to finish at a furious pace.

I seriously think they may have the number 1 class. This guy, Timmy Jernigan, Ray Drew and many others are still very good possibilities

Ray Drew

I'm telling you, he's been a lock to UGA for months. I'll bump this thread myself with a big spoonful of crow if I'm wrong.

Last I heard, Drew was purely an Auburn-UGA-LSU battle, but mostly Auburn-UGA (he would be BR bound if not for the distance from home) and Dean Legge of UGA's Scout site has said that if signing day were tomorrow, Drew, Rome and Crowell would all be singing with UGA

ETA: haha man, Drew's relationship with RIcht is taking on an almost pseudo-creepy legend status. Both swap bible verses daily (Drew is a licensed minister and has missed engagement sat UGA because he has to be in the pulpit the next morning, and Richt's Reverend-like approach kind of goes without saying) and on Drew's official visit last Saturday both he and Richt went fishing together. That's about as much a lock as you can get without a verbal commitment (which relative to the verbal isn't much, but it's pretty telling)
