Years since last won anything of note:
Georgia: 2
Tennessee: 26
They're doing alright.

If you can make more *doing* than what you're just learning about, then you leave school to go "do".
Doesn't matter the field.
You can always come back and get the paper.

I'll tell you what. Go look at Nick Saban's graduation rate. He seemed to win and keep that rate at 90% and above.

I think when you're trying to do graduation rate smack you've kind of run out of steam.

These guys are paid professionals just playing under a school name now. Graduation rates are a non-factor.

In the past 4 draft class, UGA has had 41 players drafted. A big chunk of those were juniors. UGA has also had a lot of guys transfer out of UGA which also count negatively toward graduation rates.
The numbers aren't good, but there are reasons why they are what they are.

Graduation smack is kinda lame but maybe Cardale Jones should’ve played a little at school.
He’s currently playing indoor football for 200-500 per game.
He could probably make more officiating than playing
And use his school playing to get a good day job..

In 5 years 37 of those will be out of the league, dead broke, and no degree.
Or in rehab with Bennett.

I looked at it a bit more and the period of time covered by the latest graduation rates was 2013-2016. So this has nothing to do with the numbers I put up. This is mostly due to UGA's coaching change causing attrition in that period and perhaps some reaches in recruiting at the end of Richt's time in Athens that didn't work out.
3 years ago UGA was at 87%, so this definitely looks like something that hit at the end of Richt's tenure as opposed to being an ongoing thing.
I'll admit I had no idea the graduation rates reported lagged THAT much. I thought it was a couple of years, not seven or eight.

Pretty much my point as well. Never seen a fanbase as salty as RantLSUAlter's.

I don't think you read the graphic fully. WHat it says is this:
"latest records of data (2022-2023) for the 8 year graduation cohort of 2016."
What that means is it tracks 8 years forward from players who were on the team in 2016 (that's what is meant by "graduation cohort of 2016"). Those who were on UGA's team in 2016 were part of the 2013-2016 recruiting classes.
This is done to capture players who do leave early but go back and get their degree within a few years of going to the NFL, or those who take longer than 4 years to get a degree.
It's funny how your graphic confirms what I said, but you tried to make it seem like it contradicted it. It's amusing when the person telling you that you're wrong actually makes your case for you.
So the players included in this metric are guys like Sony Michel, Nick Chubb, Jacob Eason, Roquan Smith, Rodrigo Blankenship, Brice Ramsey and Greyson Lambert.
It does not include Stetson Bennett, Justin Fields, D'Andre Swift, Jake Fromm, Trey Hill or any other player that was part of the 2017 recruiting class or later.
