The majority of your LSU fans wished they had offered him. Look at the rest of this thread.

majority of them are looking at his rivals ranking which is vastly overrated .

Well to be honest with you even if he is a 3* he is a big pickup because we need corners bad and we have a problem with speed in our DB's and he fits both of those needs so I am very happy with the pick up.

Congrats Rebs!

At the LSU camp Collins beat out Raven for an offer, and LSU knows it's DBs.

I believe he sat out the LSU camp with an injury. I could be wrong but I know he at least missed most of it.

Honestly not saying that Raven is a bad player because I like his measurables and others i've talked to say he is a player with a lot of potential but the Rivals rating is too high. That rating is based on 1 guys opinion after seeing him 1 time. The kid hasn't even played cb very much.No way he is the 9th best cb in the country when he just started playing the position. He could;ve had a great day when the Rivals analyst saw him and on that day he could've looked like the 9th best cb but his ranking shows why Rivals player rankings are very questionable.

Still good pick up becasue the kid has crazy measurables and potential.I wish him luck during his career at OM.

#8 cb in the nation, top 150 ranked, 4 star.

But his offers were:

Ole Miss
Texas A&M
Arizona
ULL
Memphis
SMU
Tulsa
Utah
Utah St.

I would have expected a a better offer list from a 4 star, 8th rated corner?

He may be overrated but he is a solid player. He's a 3 star on scout, and I never really thought he would go to a&m. Thought it was ole miss V lsu the whole time. And since he didn't get an lsu offer ole miss Is his next best offer.
