Damn Aggies. You have posters on this board that claim you are the Flagship school in Texas. In reality you are a welfare check recipient from The University of Texas. Prior to joining the SEC did y’all just sit by the mailbox at the first of month waiting on the mail/check to arrive? Holy shite what a miserable record.

Literally. We allowed them to take 1/3 of the PUF fund. Something they brag about all the time with their endowment size.

Without that they are Texas Tech.

Now now. No need to try to convince anybody of anything here.

We all know that they piled up a bunch of wins while the game was played in Austin for the first 20. We all know they piled up a bunch of wins for a 30 year stretch after World War II where they had no scholarship limits and bought all the talent. I kind of like having such a lopsided all time record. It makes them begging to get into the SEC to follow big brother even more pathetic.

We have bigger fish to fry.

Now do the record since Texas was no longer running up the score on a small, all male military school.

Somebody educate this dumb motherfricker on the PUF and why we get 1/3 of it.

This information is exactly the proof of what I get tired of saying: neither A&M nor Texas are in a position to just ouspend others and buy success. Otherwise results would be different.

They bring in cash, but there are 5 or 6 other SEC programs right there. When your sales are 10-25% more than these many quality competitors you go to the tank if you just start writing checks.

A&M and Texas act like they are a billion companeies competig vs a few small players that barely reach 7 figures. That couldn't be further from the truth.

Add that pound for pound Texas talent isn't as good as advertised and there is your explanation for 1 for 50 and 0 for 80 production.

Damn. They're historically worse vs. Texas than we are with Clemson - and that's saying a lot.

You mean the same period where your 3 Football National Championships come from? You want us to erase that period?

Yeah actually. I don't honestly care about anyone's history before about 1970.

Oh, look. You cut it off RIGHT after A&M won 10 of 11 from ‘84 to ‘94.

Shocker.

Historically, I do agree with you. Texas has not done much with all the money they have brought into the athletic department. Texas A&M hasn’t done anything.. Both are under achievers..

Texas & A&M both have HUGE endowments mostly created by the PUF fund. That is money for the school though.. and isn’t used for athletics.

Texas & A&M both bring in a lot of athletic revenue & profit each year. This can be used on facilities & coaches, etc, but not on players. They could have certainly used this money better in the past.

If some of that money is funneled into the players via NIL deals, that could make a huge difference.

For example, if Big Dick Boosters gave Texas $20 million last year to the Athletic Department, Texas could use that on Coaches, Stadium Upgrades, etc.

If those same boosters give $10 million to the school and $10 million in the form of NIL deals, that could make a big difference.

That isn’t necessarily a good thing for colllege football, but that is where we are unfortunately. Texas & A&M should both be better with the NIL deals. Both have a lot of really rich boosters.. tbd how they want to use their toy money.

Are you saying those games are more relevant than your most recent meetings?

Yet College fans like to whine & hold on to traditions( mascots, school songs, etc..) , but what happens on the field historically doesn't matter? How convenient fans like to move on from history/ tradition when it suits them.

A&M fared well against Texas over the last 40 years that they played(19-21). One game advantage for the Aggies since 1975.

You’re right. Most recent games are most relevant.
