that remark had to sting the Razorback faithful. Of course, he was Kentucky's second choice as UAB's Gene Bartow held the job for 24 hrs.

Sutton was no kid when he got to Lexington. Can't help but wonder if the shenanigans he was caught doing in Lexington were done while he was at Arkansas. With Arkansas being a rather 'modest' program they may have flown under the NCAA's radar.

It doesn't sting that much to be honest. Oh Eddie was a good coach and you hate to lose one, but it wasn't the area, the university, or the fans that had him so eager to pack his bags.

Frank Broyles was a very good football coach and great at building the infrastructure for our sports programs as the AD. He also had a fairly good eye for talent when he hired coaches. His ability to handle those coaches once they were on campus though...

He was a notorious micromanager that drove his coaches, particularly basketball and football, crazy. While he brought some great coaches, and some like Houston Nutt, to the campus he drove almost all of them away.

Perhaps he left because Frank wouldn't let him cheat.

Just as logical as the corndog theory.

We're REALLY in your head aren't we? Do you actually wake up at night in a cold sweat dreaming of calling the hogs?

Losing Eddie was awful. I mean we only replaced him with Nolan Richardson.

He would have driven but his license was probably suspended.

Sutton would sit n sip on the bench during games. Arkansas could have kept him for all we care.

If it wasn't for a Louisiana boy to make one shot, nobody would have known who Nolan Richardson was.

I doubt that since at the time only one other black coach had made it to the final four and he went to three I'm sure if Scotty would have missed no one would have heard of Nolan. You are almost as dumb as Dale Brown's recruiting who couldn't identify talent unless they were on his cheat sheet which every coach had.

The best line I remember about Sutton came from a KY sportswriter who stated "Eddie needs to learn that the Kentucky fans like their coach's hair the same as their bourbon.....straight."
