Yall are the only team to win a conference series against us. Congratulations on being the recipient of the statistically probable one bad weekend of the best team in the conference. And that luck BS can go both ways, there were some bad calls in that Sunday game and we could've easily won it and the series. Hope we meet up in Hoover so we can smash you.

Auburn 14-7 - Bama, @ LSU, OM

Like Auburn to finish well. Of course in a rivalry series you never know what can happen. At worst, I would expect AU of finish 6-3 with that schedule.

quote:

Kentucky 13-7 - USC 1 game, UGA, Tennnnesee, @ UF

The favorite IMO. At worst they are 13-8 after today. They have two series that they are capable of sweeping left.

quote:

Mississippi ST 14-7 - @ A&M, @ UGA, LSU,

Two of their final three series are on the road. State is 5-4 on the road in league play this season and have been swept on the road. aTm is playing well. Will be interesting to see how State finishes.

quote:

Florida 12-8 - UGA 1 game, OM, @ BAMA, UK

Quietly staying in the race. Not much talk about the Gators. They could sneak into the one spot, especially with their 2 toughest series left at home.

quote:

Arkansas 13-8 - @ Tennessee, Vandy, @A&M

Needs to get their shite together. Back to back series losses. Can make up ground with a sweep of Tennessee next weekend. All remaining series are very winnable for the Hogs.

quote:

LSU 13-8 - USC,Auburn, @ Mississippi State

Tough slate left for Tigers. Going 5-4 in this stretch would be impressive but not enough to win the league.

quote:

Texas A&M 12-8 - @ Mizoou 1 game, Miss State, @OM, Arkansas

Like LSU a tough slate. 5-4 would be good and likely 17-13 or 18-12 finish is better than what most aTm fans expected in league play.

Got to think the teams who get bama have a advantage. So who yall like like down the stretch.

The SEC way is that Bama takes a series from someone. Who will it be? Don't know, but I feel like they will end up spoiling someones hopes.

Kentucky looks to be in a good spot. They could easily go 7-0 over those games heading into Florida.

I fear a slide with arms getting tired and our bullpen isn't terribly deep. Hjelle and Lewis have held up really well but Logue has been showing the fatigue as of late.

I hate to say it, but State has that feel of a destiny going with Rooker's historic season and their winning despite personnel issues. Losing that series likely cost UK.

I think the 3 already at the top have the best shots: AU, UK and State. I'll guess the 'Cats barely over the Plainsmen, as both have 2 home series remaining.

But most of the SEC will at least make a regional.

The fact that LSU is a game back in conference kind of shows that the conference isn't that great this year. Lots of decent to good teams, no great teams.

LSU is meh.

I also think Vandy will make a run and finish something like 18-12 in conference. Pretty favorable schedule down the stretch. Just need to win one in Arkansas. Maybe even two.

That series was a few errors away from being Auburn's as well. It's baseball. Your team won at home like they were supposed to.

you're not kidding. we look painfully average this season

I wonder if we're going to keep going down this road with the Cain and Gibbs experiment

No but they were on a 20 game win streak against a bunch of nobodies and making a thread every single night and claiming to be a #BaseballSchool and pumping up their CWS title from the 1950's claiming their program is on the same tier as LSU.

And now they're .400 in conference and we haven't heard a peep out of them about baseball in almost 2 months.
