With a couple of possible 3 way tie scenarios...OM-ALA-MSU and OM-AUB-MSU, those SEC East records and remaining games could get interesting. We could all find ourselves pulling for teams that we never pull for.

Currently...

AUB (USCe & UGA)...6-4
ALA (UF & UT)...2-6
MSU (VU & UK)...2-6
OM (VU & UT)...0-7

Head to head games left:

11/1 UT @ USCe, UGA vs. UF
11/8 UGA @ UK, FL @ VU
11/15 UK @ UT, UF vs. USCe
11/29 UT @ VU

Auburn pretty much has it wrapped up, if they are in a 3 way tie.

Doesn't apply to us. I can't imagine a scenario where UT and Vandy catch up to UGA and USCe haha. If it's a three way tie between Bama, Ole Miss and State, Kentucky and Florida will still frick us over.

Bama is the team to beat right now, but we've seen weird things every season

Is the tiebreaker different this year? I thought it went by rankings?

Auburn would deserve it every west team knows UGA and USC are the hardest teams to play!

I'm OK with pulling for Florida, but the last time I pulled for Tennessee to beat Vandy or Kentucky was never.

Beat Auburn and State and Ole Miss could lose to LSU or Arkansas and still win all the tiebreakers.

At that point, it would only be head to head vs. the other guys, and OM would have won all those.

Auburn has zero chance of finishing tied for 1st. They play OM UGA & BAMA. They lose at least one of those. That makes them a two loss team. Between OM BAMA MSU AUBURN somebody's going to finish with 1 loss if not zero losses, ie MSU or OM.

Even if Miss State goes undefeated. If Auburn gets through the rest of the schedule without another loss, they deserve to be in the playoffs. Fourth spot, but in there nonetheless.

Unfortunately, I don't think that will happen. Only 1 SEC team will get in.

You Westies have an exciting race going. All for naught.

Bama needs to win out and MSU needs to win all but the Bama game. In the meantime, I'll be pulling for UF and UT (besides this weekend, of course}.

Georgia will be an easy win for Bama.

Congratulations on finally beating an SEC West team.....even though it took your best to beat our worst....but you Easties really should consider seceding to the ACC.
