Lacy is a fine person. You can tell that Saban thinks very highly of him too. Give the kid his props.

He probably is and he's a heck of a back.

LOL if you think the "student" athletes at OSU or any other big name school are any brighter. They're there to play football primarily. Don't kid yourself.

Is he eligible for the draft this year

Yes.

Will he declare?

Yes, he'll likely be the first RB taken now after his recent performances, as long as he doesn't show up to the Combine/Pro Day out of shape and he runs a good 40.

You might be right but I doubt it overall. There are exceptions though. For crying out loud, LSU took Michael Ford over Lacy. Can you imagine those 2 squaring off in a spelling bee?

Clarett was an excellent student. Mathematically he was some kind of savant working on advanced algorithms , chaos math etc.

I for one am happy for Eddie. I got to know him while he was in high school. He is not a thug or anything else. He never was dumb, just got by, not saying it was right, just the was it was. LSU decided to go with Michael Ford, who didn't have any academic issues, can't say I blame them. I think the best thing that could have happened for Eddie was to play under NS. Not saying I was happy for LSU, but it was best for him.

I'm disappointed it took this long for this name to come up.

Hey,to the Yankee OSU fan OP, keep your cocky, we're smarter than Southerners attitude, up in Ohio.
Enjoy your freezing arse winter. I hope you have a good ice scraper and snow shovel.

In all seriousness, there is an article floating around cyberspace out there about Lacy and the things he went through after Katrina came through and made his family a bunch of nomads. The kid was so sick of not having a home he just wanted somewhere he could find some consistency in his life.

Probably an SI.com or ESPN article. Sad story.

If you find it and read it, you'll want him to be a top 5 pick, regardless of what school you affiliate yourself with.

Hey dummy, I've lived in the south longer than you most likely.

The OP was basically in jest anyway idiot. Lacys a dumbass most likely and we've had our share at OSU as well. So what?

I've made fun of Pryor many times myself.
