Auburn is having a decent recruiting year, but they have no chance at a top 5 type of class like they had last year. It gets a lot harder to recruit when you can't offer every 4 star player immediate playing time.

It should be a top 10, I didn't expect us to get top 5 last year due to the ones we needed. We needed more line guys not the flashy skill players and the skill players are the ones that get you rating.

Well he was looking at the SEC the whole time, and had offers from 6 SEC schools (out of a total of seven) so I'm happy to see he ended up where he wanted to go. And he didn't even visit? Congrats

As for the comment on him only being 185lbs. He has an impressive closing speed and is aggressive on the field which is what matters.

He had a Saban offer so he must be some count.

Rose is committing on the 1st. I think we may be close to solidifying a lead for Roberson. Right now it is probably 50/50 between us an UF. Same could be said for Blakely.

We lead for Roberson something like 75/25.

I honestly expect him to commit on his next visit.

I think we'll bring in a good good recruiting class this year. Top 8. As long as we fill the needed positions i'll be happy.

I meant on the forum I used to post on. I think I am moving here permanently. It is way more fun to chat with fans of all the schools instead of a bunch or homer rammer jammers all day.

Auburn definitely has a good shot at a top 10 class though. Chizik's recruiting has been a HUGE surprise to me.

Well

Texas
Bama
Lsu
Ohio st
Oklahoma
Florida
Georgia
Neb
Clemson
Fl st

All look like they will end up higher. Still to early to make predictions but it will be hard.

I'm thinking 8-10 class ranking that will fill our needs.

Auburn is just looking to fill defensive holes this year. PT is important but it's not everything, as you are suggesting it is.
