And the sad thing is there's nothing that can be done about it, at least as far as those other programs are concerned. I guess we can start doing things that way, but we all know that's not gonna happen.

not under richt or really after him, richt has everyone wanting UGA to win but we have to do it the morally reprehensible way and thus basically setting ourselves well behind the 8 ball

brought us an east title and possibly more in 2012. No complaints here about our 2011 class.

wow this is upsetting. We are fricked at CB now. This sucks that we lost Patterson. Had we gotten him the decision to move Mitchell would have been easy.

CB could look like:

Sanders Commings SR
Branden Smith SR
Damian Swann SO
Sheldon Dawson True Fresh
Quintavius Harrow SO
Devin Bowman SO
Blake Sailors JR

There will likely be some offers go out to DBs who didn't sign now, just to provide depth. If not, then we're pretty muched fricked since Commings will miss at least a few games.

Copy and google the quoted text from earlier. Its on another message board...
Seems somewhat plausible and at the same time mostly wishful thinking. I wouldn't be surprised about a bagman for UT given all the info I was hearing leading up to NSD on Patterson, even from a contact at UGA admissions.

Just thought that I would share a few things since there seems to be some questions as to why we went about things the way we did. Here is an inside look to our signing day (and a few other nuggets as well).

Jaquay Williams let our coaches know that he was coming on late Tuesday

Just read the whole thing. Pretty weak, I have to say... looks no diffrerent than the other conspiracy/circumstantial stuff we see here every day.

Agreed. Alone it doesn't do much but there was quite a bit of info out on Patterson prior to NSD so the sudden change back to UT was interesting to say the least. FWIW most of the recruiting experts seemed to change their opinion on him as a UT lean as NSD approached as well so perhaps just bad info?

Well that's just it- I can't and won't say it's bad info or good info. But what I will say is that it sounds like grade-A hearsay, which is easily fabricated.

Think about for the OL guy we got, the person who posted it wants you to accept as fact that the last person to call him would get him, and that simply paying/whatever the coach to make sure Georgia couldn't connect prevented UGA from getting him.

These kinds of theories always seem so over-simplified- "the coaches thought this, and then this happened". It makes you roll your eyes.

The posters where you posted this also claim JaQuay was 50/50... that's generous considering he committed to Auburn early, and really got his first major attention from Auburn.
