So Alabama can lose to Florida State in opening game...
Don't even need to use "their mulligan"....
Get to play Oklahoma State the weakest team!!!
Kinda ironic! ??

They get to play the weakest of the teams, Oklahoma State!
So much irony here! :)
Ironic that a tinfoil hat wearing LSU fan shows up to make a conspiracy out of a preseason projection. Come on bro, you don't need any help in making yourself look stupid and envious.

Looks pretty accurate.
not really.
we had a thread like this a week or two ago.
the Liberty, Gator, Music City, Texas, Outback, and Belk are grouped together to avoid sending the same SEC teams to the same locations against the same opponents.
for example, any prediction that has A&M in the Texas for this season is automatically wrong.

Do they all have the same payout (s)?

not sure but that doesnt matter b/c all bowl money is first pooled together by the SEC and then equally redistributed to all 14 schools. (though Ole Miss may be getting cut out of that for the next few years)

That's a completely reasonable post about Steele/Aranda
The more unreasonable thing is that LSU fans become 100% convinced that every coordinator LSU hires is the top coordinator in the country.

here is an article from 2014 that explains how the SEC now does those 6 bowls
LINK
quote:
The SEC league office will decide its SEC participants for its next six bowls: Outback, Belk, Liberty, Music City, Texas and Taxslayer. There is no pecking order within these six and no significant differences between payouts, SEC executive associate commissioner Mark Womack said.
“We’ll certainly have discussions with the bowls on which teams they have interest in,” Womack said. “We’ll certainly have discussions with our institutions about which bowls they would have an interest in. But at the end of the day, the conference will make the decision as to how those teams would be placed in those six bowls.”
SEC Commissioner Mike Slive and his staff will make the decisions about which bowls those six teams will play in, Womack said. The league will work to avoid regular-season rematches and rematches from recent bowl games and factor in proximity when deciding who plays where.

i think some of the more intelligent alabama fans would agree!

No, they believe they are better than most head coaches in the country as well. It makes sense that they'd hire a D-line coach as HC who had no head coaching prospects anywhere else in the country after failing miserably at Ole Miss.

In their prediction Alabama beats Florida State opening weekend. Alabama is their #1 seed. Florida State is #3.

Ok, but you and I know that Florida State can beat Alabama....
And if Alabama wins the SEC West, they make the final four.
Nobody in the East will beat them in the SEC championship game this year...
If they make it!

Also....
If Alabama, Florida State. Ohio State, and Oklahoma State all have one loss, what would the seedlings be?
Anyway...my point was the obvious irony of the mulligan and Oklahoma State being involved...
I'm an LSU fan! :)
