Hey we made one ...
What School is Offensive Line U.?

9. Ole Miss (tie)
* The Data: Top-Three Round Picks: 6; First-Round Picks: 2.
* The Skinny: Ole Miss has had a pair of first-round picks since 1998, including Chris Spencer (2005) and Michael Oher (2009). Oher, of course, was the subject of the 2009 movie “The Blind Side” starring Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw.

Right, 15 years was a minuscule time frame for Bama fans talking about current events at that time. Bear this, Bear that, etc.

Crazy how bad UT's LB situation is after AJ Johnson though... next best guy (Maggit) has never been able to stay healthy, the rest complete and total slaw

Jordan Jenkins, Georgia: I promised I wouldn’t throw an honorable mention into any position rankings heading into spring, but I’m going to break that with Jordan Jenkins. Jenkins played behind Jarvis Jones in 2012, so he didn’t see the field as much as he would have at any other school in the country. Jenkins posted 31 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and five sacks in very limited time. Jenkins could be the SEC’s biggest breakout player in 2013, and you could make the argument that he belongs on this list.
Jenkins played on the opposite side from Jones the latter half of the season so if the author doesn't know this, I question what he does know.

I won't hate on the guy. In his defense, Jenkins DID play behind Jarvis for most of the year, which is why he hardly saw any reps. About halfway through october when it was clear he was another manbeast, we put him on the other side to get them both on the field. Other than that small little snafu, it was a pretty good and complimentary write up, which is somewhat surprising from a UT fan towards UGA.

#2 in the nation
I'm just curious...what would be the point of advertising yourself to HS LB recruits as the #2 Linebacker U school over a 15 year period, when you're on your 4th coaching staff since that time period started, and your last LB to go in the first round was three coaching staffs ago?

Well wtf are they supposed to say? If I'm not mistaken, in recruiting you try to point out the positives about your school. I'm sure UT and their success with linebackers is something they point out.

OK...for those of you outside the Vol fanbase who might also be a little bit slower, let me repeat: What is the point of advertising to recruits that Philip Fulmer put LBs into the first round, when Tennessee is now on its 3rd head coach since then, and none of them have had any LBs drafted in the first round?

BAMA has (3) future 1st round LBs on the roster right now to make up the difference.

Which 3 though?
Mosley
Hubbard
Allen
That would be my three, but I could also see one of Foster or Ragland going in the first, but it's way too early to tell, same for Allen. I think if Reuben and Ragland can't cover fairly well they will need to prove they can blitz or edge rush to go in the first.
