Who wrote that? Surely that was not written by someone who represents the University in an official capacity.
I can see it ginning up A&M fans to have something to be proud of but it read really bad. "We have all of these great resources and facilities yet we are at best the 3rd best football program in our State. We would rather only win 8 games and have all of this cool stuff than to win 11-12 games with far lesser resources. Our stuff is better than their stuff and that is really what matters to A&M alums and boosters. Forget that we suck at actually accomplishing anything. We are bigger and have more money so we are superior."
Sounds like some shite Texas would have put out 5 years ago.

OU currently pays Bobby more than sumlin makes. what makes you think they can't hire whoever they want and spend 8 mil? Obviously you have no idea how football revenue is spent vs endowments. OU clears more a year for football than A&M and it's not that close. They had better facilities to start with so why do they need to spend the same A&M does? It's all over google that OU is spending over 300 mil in two phases both before and after the 2016 season.
