I knew this thread would expose some serious envy, but even I failed to recognize the depth of the envy for A&M that exists among both the SEC and the Big 12 member institutions.

A&M is like a rich kid with a large inheritance; never really earned anything - it just kind of bubbled up out of the ground - yet brags about his/her wealth even though it's just a creation of circumstance and not their own ability, all while envying their dad because he's left his mark on the world and is the only reason he/she is relevant. Texas is America's Saudi Arabia.

Watch out for Maryland. They are starting to make some noise. They've been utilizing the Under Armour brand for basketball recruiting and are starting to leverage it in football and other sports.
