Between those hOsTiLe cardboard environments and the month long bye in November - I’m not sure how the TaHhHdDd pulled it off!

Post on here that Will Wade, who has more sec wins over the past 3 years than anyone, is a top 5 coach in the league and watch how fricking mad they get

No one really cares, any Bama posters can pull up multiple articles with authors proclaiming 2020 Bama is the best ever. Likewise with LSU posters 2019... but LSU shite'd the bed so badly the next season that team won't get credit it deserves.
Why do people remember the greatest of all time teams they follow it with more championships.
Bulls
Celtics
New England
Yankees
Hurricanes
Ucon Women's basketball
UCLA
Team like that...
The way offense is these days EVERY JOE, TUA or MAC record will broken within next 5 years. Same with Devonta Smith records....
Passing Yardage per game
Passing TDs
Most Passing Yardage in a season
All have been broken aleast 7 times in last 17 years.
We're never see another Tebow than came Cam
We're never see another Cam than came Manziel
Now the Ole Miss QB probably break all the records this season.

2005 Texas with Vince Young >>> Every fricken body else.

shite yeah. I would put up our 2019 team vs anybody in cfb history. There was simply no stopping us on offense and our defense was very good too. Greatest ever.

Other teams might be the GOAT, but 2010 Auburn and Cam would still find a way to win.

Expect it wasn't, that LSU team was one of the best but the fact that this keeps getting regurgitated is asinine

It's a true statement. Most people just go by the final rankings. But. LSU did beat 7 top 10 teams in 2019. That is 100% true.

The 2001 Hurricanes would be the shite out of everyone. A simple glance at the roster reveals reality. It’s like a list of goat after goat.
The 2000 Miami team was probably even better, they had an awful first half at #3 Washington and ran out of time. Rant posters don’t deal well with opinions that don’t agree with the SEC. Today’s arcade offenses are a joke and that’s what it’s been the past several years.

Was nearly a complete different group of people...
Plus it looks like they did get the credit they deserved in the article OP linked.

That article said OU was unbeaten playing against Florida. Journalism is bad. OU lost to Texas in regular season.
Which invalidates the article’s credibility IMHO. You need to know what you’re talking about and if you can’t get something as simple as a team’s final record correct, then what else in this article is incorrect?

2008 Florida continues to be disrespected. I'll die on the hill of them being a top 5 team of all time.

Everyone except BC (2 possession game) and VT (2 pt game), right?
And, Bama 2017 roster has exactly the same # of draftees as 2001 Miami (38). Bama still has Brian Robinson and Mathis left from 2017 though. If one of them are drafted, 2017 Bama roster was the most NFL laden roster of all time.

It's a disingenuous statement. Just because the media overhyped Texas doesn't change the fact that they lost 5 games

I don't get where 2001 Miami is this unstoppable force. 2001 Miami is the greatest assembly of players in the history of college football, but Larry Coker was their coach and Ken Dorsey was their quarterback. I'd take all but two of Sabans Bama championship squads against them(09 and 15), and the last 3 championship squads would have obliterated them, IMO. I love that era of football, but it couldn't compete with the level and intensity of todays game on a team by team basis. You could drop in 2001 Ed Reed or Andre Johnson to todays game and they'd probably be even more prolific than when they actually played. But Ken Dorsey was a relic. Noodle armed, not a fast or quick guy. Wasn't even really that clutch or accurate. You need a QB now more than ever to beat elite teams, and he would have been a liability. Then, you have a coaching staff that might honestly be the worst overall staff to have won a natty in the BCS era.

What a fun season. Screw you Bammer. You'll never have what LSU went through in 2019. This has gotta bother Saban.
