In all seriousness, what has Kelly done to deserve that ranking?

It’s funny watching LSU fans pretend Kelly is a great coach.

His tenure and consistency probably. If you do overall accomplishments he’d still be top 5 and I’d give Dabo more credit. However the OP says “today” and he just had a heisman winner.

Bryan Kelly doesn’t come close to winning 11 games with this Ole Miss team.

Probably 8-4 with him at the helm.

He has the second best winning percentage in the SEC.

Yes, he had a the Heisman winner at QB. What did he manage to do with him?

You guys have had pretty easy schedules tbh and get ranked higher than you probably should each season. Over the last 5-10 years your recruiting and rosters have been pretty good compared to historical OM teams. OM has a .551 all time win %, you’re not a juggernaut.

This is my current favorite take regarding Kelly.

"Muh yeah he took over a .500 team and won the West but he got beatdown in the SEC championship."

"Muh yeah he took a transfer quarterback no one else wanted and developed him into a Heisman winner, but he still lost 3 games."

The man has only been there two seasons.

And what has the rest of the list done to be ranked ahead of him? Dabo is the only one behind him with more accomplishments.

Brian Kelly took one of the all time great dual threat QBs of the college game and proceeded to field the worst defense of all time behind him to limp away with a win against a 7 win Wisconsin in the final game to finish a 3 loss season.

I mean… I don’t even understand how LSU fans gaslight themselves into believing this guy is worth a shite.

Gerry DiNardo-esque. I hope he never leaves.
