Brent Rooker leads off the game with a 400+ foot blast to CF for a HR. Dawgs tagging Clark Schmidt so far.

Founders has turned into a toxic place for the home team and Chad. This start won't help.

Do the gamecock fans really dislike Holbrook that much?

His arse should've been gone after the Clemson series. He has destroyed what 5 years ago was arguably the best baseball program in the country.

Y'all are ranked 11th in the nation, that's not that bad imo.

I've honestly stopped caring about baseball because of Holbrook and the final 4

I'll become a fan again once he's gone

We're about to have what? Our 11th or 12th loss and a near .500 SEC record?

The last 3 years pre Holbrook were 2 national titles, a runner up in Omaha, and an SEC title.

We lost a home Regional in 2014, didn't make the postseason in 2015, lost a home Super Regional in 2016, lost 3 consecutive series vs. Clemson, lost 15-0 vs. UNC in 2016 and 20-5 on Tuesday. And this is with a talented roster. Holbrook is terrible.

And to note it was the first time we missed the NCAA tourny since 1999*

I feel no solace in having a high rank in April. With the talent that we have there is no excuse for the production on the field.

The blowouts are bad enough, but the close games that were blown because of coaching decisions are downright infuriating.

On a good note for you Cock fans, your guy Schmidt has struck out Rooker two times in a row since the leadoff bomb.

Again, we weren't expecting him to win a title every year, but he literally inherited the program that just achieved the longest CWS winning streak and NCAA tournament winning streak in history.

We expect better.
