Now take a look at the number of units/seats and the number of parking spaces. The old "there are already parking spaces downtown argument".

It's like a 7k seat stadium and a couple of apartment complexes. A lot of apartment complexes and businesses build parking lots underneath the complexes. Look at Nashville, for instance. They keep building massive developments that don't include detached parking lots. Because almost every high rise building in Nashville has a parking deck on the first several levels of the building or underneath the building.

Not to mention, it's an artists rendering Do you really think they would build a massive multi-use development and not have parking?

It would be much better to see a real concept instead of this animated sketch.

Not very good timing for a development like this.

Seems hard for a professional team and a college team to share a stadium, long series, tournaments, rain outs, and practice all seem to be issues with this concept.
Missouri State does it with the AA Springfield Cardinals. I’ve never seen any issues on the outside with the arrangement.
Is there some sarcasm in this post, or is it dementia? 2015 ring a bell? It should. Missouri State is the secondary tenant in their park, and it's a constant issue come post-season.

Now, if you get the college team as the primary tenant (see Nebraska), it's not a problem and can be a mutually beneficial arrangement.

Boyd is estimating a total cost of the ballpark as $65 million, but also includes a 20 percent cost contingency for overruns, pushing the total cost to potentially $78 million.

Wish I could hit my investors with a "13 million dollar cost contingency". I think they'd probably lose confidence in my abilities immediately. This much be tax payer money.
