Alabama's strongest linebacker (Tim Williams) squatted 545, straight from an article on AL.com citing the strongest players at each position for Bama in 2015. You're either a total idiot or you've never set foot under a bar if you don't understand that 1.) anything over ~495 is bone-crushingly heavy for anyone who's a freshman in college, and 2.) that it's especially impressive when you consider the fact that he's just getting back into the offseason strength mode and probably hasn't maxed out or even pushed heavy weight for 3-4 months.

Again, y'all don't know what you're talking about so stop embarrassing yourselves. Either Alabama's entire 2015 linebacker squad was physically weak or White is strong for a graduating freshman

Dude that's not his max on squat. You can tell that was easy for him. I'm glad jalen hurts is a powerlifting qb...that really has alot to do with being a qb.

I took his post to simply mean all those plates were rubber, which made it look like more weight than it actually is - which is true, but isn't necessarily relevant

Ok? That isn't what he was saying at all. Why would anyone say that he's using "fake crossfit weights" and that he only had "a 25 on the end....soft" if he thought he was using a 55 lb plate? And you understand that literally every single college strength program in the country uses rubber weights now, right? So again, why would using what everyone else in the country uses make him soft?

I can appreciate the delusional defense of your fellow fans but give it a break

I just posted a video of a 16 year old 200 lb QB squatting 500lbs. Notice the lack of screaming and look at me antics.

Congratulations on the freakishly strong quarterback, which is a total anomaly in CFB FYI. He's probably the strongest QB in the history of college football. But keep showing that you've never stepped foot in a weight room before to see how some guys act compared to a lifting competition, you sound so smart and badass right now. You're right, a 500 lb squat is weak for a freshman linebacker and everybody on Alabama's team squats at least 900 pounds for reps.

Do you feel less insecure now?

Nobody said it's weak. It's just not impressive nor does it warrant the reaction from White.

White could have repped that weight 2 or 3 more times judging by the relative ease in which he did that one. The scream and overreacting was fake.

Jalen Hurts can squat more than that.

That's what happens when you put a RB at QB, along with the inaccurate passing.

ok bud. Sure it's not, a 500+ lb squat for a freshman is so average

Ever seen a video of your strength coach in the weight room? Cochran screams like he's giving birth in the weight room at all times. I always thought that screaming and freaking out after a lift was gay but that wasn't an overreaction or "look at me" type shite at all, it's just a thing that a lot of guys do in that environment.

Keep showing off that weightlifting experience and knowledge probably could've done it at least 20 more times tbh, most Bama players could've done it about 80-100 times then summited Mount Everest right afterward though

I'll say this, the taller you are, the harder to squat heavy.
For example, before I tore up my knee, I was able to squat 545lbs at 5'10" and 225. And I can still bench 315lb. I know I have leverage on my side because I'm shorter.

People impressed by a college football player squatting 500 lbs have never seriously lifted in their lives.

I'd be more concerned if he could NOT squat that as an SEC LB.
