Your game against Ole Miss will be your eighth in a row without a bye. I'd be seriously worried that your players will have dead legs and will not be able to keep up with OM.

Because a bye-week helped us out so much last year....

I don't have any for Wisconsin, but I think it is entirely reasonable to see an LSU loss at Arkansas.

Have you watched the game the last 2 seasons? Those weren't fluky games. It doesn't mean LSU will lose for sure, but expecting Arkansas to beat them at home is not some crazy notion.

Two SEC teams were placed in a championship game not too long ago.

And that system was put out to pasture because of it.

There will not be 2 teams from the same conference in the playoff unless they expand it to eight.

Miles starts out 8-0, losses back to back games to Alabama and Arkansas.................

What is the fret level in Baton Rouge? Because after the last 2 years of this type of thing happening, I have to think it would be at radioactive levels. And they could do that, win out and be a lock to make the Sugar Bowl at 10-2.

Oh, it would be bad but, we're not losing to Arkansas. Les would be canned if we were in line to get Herman

Eh, Ole Miss will have to travel to Fayetteville and Baton Rouge in back to back weeks.

We're home against Southern Miss the week before Ole Miss.

What you're saying is definitely a true concern but Ole Miss will have their own fatigue.

Have you watched the Arkansas games the past two seasons? I don't think our players could've given any less of a frick about them if they'd tried, this year will more than likely be different after the embarrassment of losing to a second rate program like them two years in a row. And has Arkansas been recruiting well or something that I'm not aware of? Theyre going to suck again next year, just like they have every year under Bielema. It's only a matter of time until we actually show up to that game and bend them over

LSU hasn't kept within 3 scores of Arkansas since 2013.

So you don't think your guys cared after being embarrassed and shut out by a team that like Arkansas that hadn't won an SEC game in 2 years? But this year all of a sudden they will super duper care a ton?

Yeah, but Bama was the team that got in with a loss. Bama>LSU in the committee's eyes.

And LSU would have gotten in if the roles were reversed. Those were the best two teams that year.

The committee has stated over and over and over that the four best teams in College football will be represented in the playoff. They never select it to make sure every conference could participate.

Yep, totally agree. LSU even more so due to their other wins.

I never buy the "revenge" BS. If that was the case, you would have beaten Ole Miss at home right?

I just don't see Arkansas bringing back anyone. I think they lose enough talent for LSU to finally beat them

Exactly. The focus stuff totally matters for things like bowl games, because it matters for the 4 weeks leading up to the game in planning and prep, but the SEC season is such a grind that by week 10 or something I can't imagine anybody is like "oh yea, now I'm getting serious, it's _______ week".

No, I don't think they cared at all. And if you weren't a desperate delusional moron you'd probably agree. Arkansas sucks, we lost our biggest game of the season the week before that decides whether or not we get to accomplish our yearly goal of winning a natty, and we showed up flat as a pancake. I'm sorry if you're not smart enough to grasp that wild concept because you want to think that our players are somehow going to do mental gymnastics to get fired up to play a shite program like Arkansas

I don't even know what this means in the context of our conversation, but it's a solid line

You do realize you could have gone 11-1 and still had a shot at the playoffs, right? So if your guys just gave up after one loss then they are pretty big morons. Also lame as shite, but that's another story.

Don't kid yourself. The committee's biggest concern is revenue, just like everything else. They want as many sets of eyeballs as possible tuned into the games. 2 teams from the same conference, particularly the SEC, will cost them money.
