All those great teams of the past will surely have an impact on this years team. No doubt.

It's no surprise that the SECr overvalues QBs, as most of the posters on here are morons. I thought you were smarter than that but I guess not.

Also 17 starters back. Most since 2011 and before that 2007.
But yeah that probably doesn't matter to you either

Have you figured out yet that the level of competition then does not compare to the level of competition you currently face....but hey trench warfare was once cutting edge also!

You'd think an Alabama fan of all people would understand that QBs aren't everything. I guess you're new to the league? You sure you're not an A&M fan?

LSU will be good. The D will be nasty. You still won't finish higher than 3rd in the division. Sorry.

LSU's QBs this year make the ones we have trotted out in the recent past look like Mannings.

I'm talking distant past too. Pat Trammell wasn't exactly Tim Tebow.
You probably don't know who that is though.

So 17 returning starters + an unproven QB equal = conference contenders?
Posted on 3/8/15 at 10:52 pm to ABearsFanNMS
At LSU, yeah. We don't need a great QB as we've proven over and over and over. D will be sick as will our o-line plus we have the best running back in the country and a bunch of stud receivers.

Thank you for proving my point!
Posted on 3/8/15 at 10:55 pm to ABearsFanNMS
No, you proved mine.
We're LSU, not ole miss. We don't need a once in a generation QB from the same family to compete at the highest levels of the SEC.

You are pretty dense aren't you? SP won't be suiting up next year. However, Ole Miss is returning 17 starters from last year. So there should actually be a pretty good jump in performance if we can get decent QB play!
Posted on 3/8/15 at 11:00 pm to ABearsFanNMS
I was talking about the mannings. SP will probably get moved to tight end like whatshisname from Neville.

He isn't even the best running back in the conference.

Well you're just wrong about that.
I also know more about Alabama history than you do.
