All new coach threads must include at least one mention of this name:
Jon Gruden

Let's say the eagles suck this year... Would Chip Kelly want to come back to college? Would he be able to recruit the south? Kelly at Florida could be sooo scary.

Oh yeah, we'll steal Tennessee's dream coach too.
Don't worry.

You guys are high as frick if you think Freeze wouldn't leave for UF, top 3 job in the nation. Cupboard is full did you guys see Treon last week? have you seen our freshman Db's?

Freeze wouldn't leave his hometown team. Especially for such a terrible program like Florida

I'd be shocked if someone at a top 5 program, like UF, wanted Freeze. While I think he has the football chops to some extent, I think he'd run the program into the ground in Chizik like fashion.

If Muschamp isn't around then his replacement will be an offensive coach. Florida fans love their wide-open offenses and they'll want a clear shift from Muschamp's philosophy.
Freeze ain't leaving though, at least not after this year. We'll have one of our strongest teams ever next year.

I don't see Sumlin leaving A&M. He will build his kingdom there as big as he can. Now that they're in the SEC it's a destination.
Freeze - maybe. But he has deep roots in OM.
Spurrier - interesting option. Is there any bad blood between him and the current admin at UF? His age is also a factor. I'm not sure this generation knows how much SEC butt he kicked in the 90's.
UF is such an appealing place that there will be only few names off the table.

Maybe you can steal Lanie boy. As a bonus, Layla gets to go home.

I could see them going after someone like Dabo Swinney, assuming Chad Morris would be coming with him as well. Possibly Chip Kelly or Todd Graham.

Spurrier back to Florida would be kinda cool.

ya. im obviously not expecting it, but its fun to think about.
we had a great run with meyer, but what if we hadnt acted so spoiled as a fan base. what if spurrier was here this whole time. SOS leaving UF will always be my worst feeling as a fan in retrospect because he came back to college ball to sc. we just got to spoiled and discontent.

Nick Saban or Lou Holtz will come out of retirement

John Harbaugh will come back to college after this NFL season. He and the 49ers don't get along

It would be insane if Spurrier did jump to UF, however unlikely. He is Florida football imo.
I don't think his ego would allow him to though.

Michigan would be all over Harbaugh.
