IMO, in the Easy East you could mix and match the top 3 in any order. In the Wowza West, 2-7 the same. Readers choice.

Only in the SEC West could a bowl team be better on both sides of the ball, possibly ranked, not make any headway and potentially finish second to last.

What Arkansas has, besides a solid coach, solid players, and a solid gameplan (which, ironically, has become an exception of a gameplan for being so-- well-- solid [and is therefore advantageous for being different]) is FIRE. A lot of people around here can talk Xs and Os and stats and such. And God knows a lot of people around here can tell you who hasn't won what in how many years. Arkansas is carrying a chip on its shoulder that's as massive as it is immeasurable. They were on the cusp of greatness when the motorbike went down. They've been to hell and back together in the mean. They're back and better than ever I think. And I think they'll be real hard to handle in 2015.

If Alabama, with all its talent, had half the fire last year that Arkansas had then neither Ohio State nor Oregon nor anyone else would've stood a chance.

One week after stopping Georgia's run game Bama will be at home against Arkansas. They better hope the bruises have healed quickly and the ibuprofen is from a good batch, because them hawgs are gonna be puttin bruises on top of abrasions.
