So one year in the SEC, and A&M thinks they are part of the Big 6! I guess I missed some National Championship games somewhere

This is wrong. The game will be in 2014, but it's for the 2013 season.
The Alabama/Notre Dame game last year was for the 2012 national championship.

Have you taken a gander at A&M's road record in the SEC? I'd actually rather play Alabama on the road again. All losses last year were at Kyle Field. Sumlin has an awe-inspiring road record these last few years, and it continued at A&M.
BTW, 8-1 is too high... lost too much up front for next year, although most of the media hasn't realized it yet. Will lose to Alabama and finish with one or two losses. The 2014 season could be special, because we will have depth on BOTH sides of the ball.

Had not seen that dbt, thanks for posting. I new C-Low was in town last week but forgot he usually follows a ride down here (from his home in Charlotte) with an article.
There is definitely something going-on around here ... not your normal eternal optimist stuff we SC fans like to feed upon. But we'll see, it's more about chemistry at this stage than anything else. Chemistry, good internal team leadership, all the cliche' stuff.
