Also worth mentioning is that LSU is the only baseball school to exceed 400K attendance. And we've done it 3 times...so far.

i've watched every game so far, and every announcment has said > 5k for us. I don't see how that average could be lower when we've not had one less than 5k and a few estimated at 7.

Which universities have decided to print shirts?

Someone save some space in this thread so that the Mizzou fans can come post a few, "college baseball, who gives a shite, MLB, Cardinals/Royals" comments.

Your announcers are either terrible at estimating attendance or you have a ton of people sneaking in for free.

Here is your paid attendance for each game. Actual attendance is always lower.

2/22 - Sac State - 5,032
2/21 - Sac State - 4,671
2/18- SFA - 4,066
2/16 - Northeastern - 3,985
2/15 - Northeastern - 5,172
2/14 - Northeaster - 5,506

Your baseball website doesn't have the stat book up yet from yesterdays game but based off of last week's Sunday game, I would guess that it was somewhere around 4k.

Several have been under 5k. We've even had a few under 4k.

It's always tickets sold.

True even for MLB. I guess where I was going with this, is that 400K figure is significant for more than one reason than bragging rights.

There are currently three schools in this country...Syracuse, Kentucky, and LSU...that have sold more than 400K tickets to a sport other than football.

Now I realize that northern schools baseball attendance is limited by weather. I get that. And that hockey might actually be bigger in some states like Minnesota.

The highest total attendance in college hockey was just over 200K, for Minnesota and North Dakota.

I didn't look to see what their baseball attendance was. The combined attendance for baseball and hockey might be very competitive with the same combined attendance at some schools...maybe not LSU, but some other schools.

What would really be interesting is a thread comparing the top 4-5 sports by attendance at each school.

Arkansas finished first in attendance in 2007.
