CNS is probably the 2nd greatest CF coach ever behind Bear Bryant.
I don't think he'll ever be endeared like Bryant, not because of this game or that decision.
But because he never came out and said "this one is on me..not the kickers or special teams..I should have waited for OT and given us a chance then".
If he said this and I missed it..apologies.
Just my opinion.

I wondered that too, surely it couldn't have pissed her off, but who knows. At that point in time, she probably knew she would be marrying him, so she probably wasn't happy about his stock dropping. During the Sugar Bowl, she looked really worried/horrified, the stock dropping again.

Dude, this is the guy that blamed his players for being distracted for the bowl game last year when the entire interim between the end of the season and the bowl game consisted of his agent whoring him out to Texas to get more money out of Bama. Gee, can't imagine why the Bama players might have been distracted. Can you?

Some store in auburn had the whole call printed out in a cool way so that it all fits on a 5x7. I have it framed in my office

I didn't realize until last night that I had not watched the whole game since being there that night....my memory was blank until Coates catches the tying TD pass.
