No difference really. *Clutch QB, bad arse RB, blocking WR's that can go deep, imposing OL, Avg defense with strength being d-line.

*I do realize Nick is not Cam. However, he is a winner (if it doesn't rain)

2010 easily. No positive yards up the middle would be had for 2013 going against Fairley and Cam would throw on that secondary all day long

This is a retard question; clearly 2010. The real question is 2004 v. 2010. 2004 had a ridiculous backfield. -Michael.

If that's true...FSU will roll.

Oregon was good not great and the game was a nail-biter. Very few NFL talent...compared to FSU.

Isn't that what they said about Bama? Sadly, you have learned nothing, Zamoro10. Must we teach you again?

You misunderstand my post.

While very lucky...and seemingly having lost the Bama game at various points throughout the 4th quarter...seriously, one FG kick made and the game is over...

I like this Auburn team more...because it's an offensive philosophy and team.

2010 was a one man show and when he struggled - well you saw the 2010 title game.

Both Auburn teams have swagger and confidence and that it factor...but so does FSU.

Since I don't think 2010 was so much better...I think FSU vs. Auburn will be a close contest.

I love Auburn's resilience but I also love FSU's domination - even against a weaker slate - they never took a week off...which teams so often do...remember the Oklahoma's - FSU is s team focused....Auburn is a team with supreme confidence and passion.

Should be a great game.

Most people tend to forget that special teams is a part of the game. AU had better special teams, and it was a big factor in winning. But so was stopping Bama's run on 4th down, running the ball effectively, throwing a TD to a double covered Uzomah, and CALLING the play (after a TO) that allowed the FG return at the end of the game. That's not a fluke, its good play. The Georgia game was more of a lucky game, IMO -- although Murray did NOT get into the end zone on that run (which probably worked out better for AU in the end).

No, I agree.

You guys won the Bama game straight-up...fair and square.

Stopping the 4th down shows your will and strength as a team...blocking the FG earlier.

That's football - which is why Bama arguments are lame - as they always are.

But you didn't look like a dominant team throughout the year - and I don't think you are.

But you have that special resilience. I wouldn't beat against you. But FSU could be special.

We don't really know. I think this Auburn is mentally tough as nails. I don't understand why everyone thinks 2010 is so much better. That was not a special Oregon team...just a very good team running their system that Auburn struggled with despite shutting down the point of attack with Fairley and Co.

Marshall is better in space and faster
Cam was better on power runs, ball security, and breaking tackles

2004 for sure. I think they win by double digits.

We were robbed in 2004, and it almost happened again. Thanks again Spartans. LINK

You weren't robbed.

That's the crappy system.

But OU had a fantastic year...and were actually favored heading into the game.

That USC team was at it's apex. Balance of offense and defense. 2003 - defense....2005 offense.

It's hard sell to most rational humans for Auburn to assert they would have ever won that matchup...given the outcome of your own bowl game against blah...and you know this.

It's hard to sell to people that Auburn could win any game...

Doesn't mean it's true...

IMO
2004 >> 2010 > 2013 > 1993

That 2004 squad was bad arse and loaded with talent on both sides. 2010 had an excellent line, Cam, and a couple of really good players on D.

This team and 1993 are both very good teams that somehow find a way to win.

Well you're an Auburn fan - you will believe anything and support any falsehood - because hey, you're a fan.

But to neutrals - nobody in their right mind would ever and has ever believed Auburn would have given 2004 USC a game.

Which is why there has never been serious controversy about the "Auburn snub" - who cares? People say - didn't matter who USC played.

The post-season proved this on both ends.

But you can always print the shirts to this settled and ancient history.

This post is filled with jealousy and stupidity. They said 2002 wouldn't be a game, they said 2006 wouldn't be a game. Bottom line, yes there has been controversy. I believe Auburn was as good as anybody that year. It was 9 years ago though, and we are in the NC this year, so it's pointless trying to get in an argument about it.

It didn't prove anything. Margin of victories mean nothing. Some teams are built to win in blowouts, some are built to just win the game. Nothing is proven until the teams meet on the field.
