It's OK, this game never happened.

When the Ravens won the Super Bowl they were beaten by the steelers twice in the regular season but beat them in the playoffs. They weren't Division Champions either

Same with the St Louis Cardinals in 2011. The brewers won the division but lost to the eventual WS champs in the playoffs

Lawd can you imagine if the Reid interception happened but a Bama player was the defender?

That's not supposed to happen in college football.

Saban is like Baelish from game of thrones

Why doesn't college football play a series?

that game of the century was the best game I've seen in college football. Talent on the field was ridiculous

Why don't teams in the same division play each other twice like they do in the NFL

Because they have 3 division opponents as opposed to 5 or 6

I wont argue who won the national championship in 2011

But to compare the format to pro sports is asinine, to say the least

But the BCS format clearly had no issues with a non division winner being selected

Glad the BCS is gone - this was the one that counted. What. A. Game.

Alabama gets into the playoffs if this same scenario played out in 2016 instead of 2011.

You haven't watched much college football then.

Some of the worst combined offense in a single game... ever.

Not to mention the fact that Alabama was second in the SEC in total offense and third in points per game.

Alabama's average margin of victory going into the LSU game was 31 points.
