Cam sodomizes the most talented defense of the Saban era in an historic comeback in Bryant-Denny. The only solace for Bama is that Cam didn't return for an encore performance and allowed them to enjoy a better than 3rd place West finish in 2011.

That's not the 2011 defense. And that's nice you bring up a game that's 3 Alabama national championships ago.

*edit, fricking alters man. Kiss my arse.

2011 Bama D = 2010 Bama D minus a Marcel Dareus and Cam Newton's penis.

My life's goal is to have an Auburn fan create an alter fueled only by the jimmy rustling butt hurt I cause them by posting nothing but facts.

RollTide1987 is my hero.

Rewatching this game really makes you realize just how good Marcel Dareus was and just how overrated Mark Barron was.

Both highly drafted. But one would go on to multiple Pro Bowls, while the other would have to switch to LB at the next level to stay in the league.

Pretty smart of Gus to attack Bama by getting Barron into man coverage situations and repeatedly exploiting his poor coverage skills.

Thankfully, the 2011 D wasn't asked to face a decent QB and complete offense all season.

My favorite part was watching the McElroy family dancing in the stands early, only to stop dancing later.

Barron definitely had trouble in coverage in 2010. I think that he tore a pectoral muscle early in that game also, and played through it. Either way, Barron has been a beast at that hybrid LB position that he moved to with the Rams.
