I don't know why I remember it so well but 2008 LSU (ref tackling Garcia game) was the first time it was used.
But it didn't catch on or become a thing until that OM game.

Will be there in 2019.
South Carolina doesn't come back to Tuscaloosa until 2024. Haven't played there since 2009. So 15 years between trips to Tuscaloosa for SC.

Had forgotten about the fake FG attempt in the 4th quarter. Knew we had lost it when we got no points out of that possession.
