Arkansas beating LSU is always an upset.

I love this. UK made a run at the very end of the game. For 3.5 quarters, Bama was in control.
Agreed, the defensive lapses were on us. They had two big plays that got it close.

But that analogy between Les miles and Larry Coker is so easily refuted that it makes you seem desperate.

Just sayin...

except Coker actually went undefeated in his championship season and went to the NCG the next year. Coker is better than Miles.

Coker is alot better than Saban too FWIW IMHO. I'd prob put Saban at about the 2nd worst coach in the SEC. So with that in mind, I hope he stays awhile so we can beat him every year and easily win the SEC.

Saban's a horrible recruiter, too.

But Coker didn't continue the successful recruiting efforts Miles has. I guess only time will tell, but if recruiting is any indication, your theory is way off base.

ETA: But Lee, I have to admit it even made me chuckle.

The big games in the beginning of the season will set up the upsets.
If GA can pull off the win at OSU and Bama can scratch out a win against VT, then both will be the favorite in every game remaining, save Florida for GA.

I'd have to say the upset of the year will come against one of those two.

Unless Florida loses one of course.

These games are winnable in my opinion....Georgia early at home...

Bama will have a helluv a D but probably won't score a ton of points...

Arky @ Florida would be huge...Hell I'm making my first trip to GVille

That's entirely possible, but I don't see it. I'd say more of a KY or MSU over Bama would be more likely.
Bama is going to be a smash mouth team, with big imposing players all over the field.
I don't think Arkansas is ready for that right now.

You know I'm not flaming the Tide when I pick Arkansas, right? I just think that the early part of the year is when Alabama is most prone to this kind of an upset, and Arkansas will run a similar passing offense to Utah's.
