We beat State something like 49-0 a few weeks later. From 3-4 to 9-4 that year.

Nah, the best bowl win in the modern era was beating Josh Heupel and Oklahoma in 2000

In the independence bowl....

So, a win over a mediocre LSU team is a "benchmark" win at Ole Miss. Good to know...then again, isn't this the same year that Ole Miss printed Ole Miss 31 National Champions 30 stickers? Kinda tells you where you are on the food chain doesn't it?

If you haven't gotten the message yet...this should make it clear. New Orleans and now CLEVELAND have won championships since Ole Miss last tasted that kind of glory. Hell, the way that things are looking this year, THE CUBS may even beat you to it.

Seriously, you guys have gotten to the point where they need to remake this commercial...just replace the Saints fan with an Ole Miss fan. LINK

No one will ever forget Snead's 3 passes down field for the TD. LSU fans still remember

Nope. I honestly forgot who Jevan snead was until I read this thread

Better known as the guy Colt McCoy beat out even though Snead was more highly regarded and recruited

We also gave up 50+ twice in 2007, and won the 'Ship

Ole Miss just creamed us that day. Pretty big beat down.

Maybe it's just because I rarely pay attention to OM but I had no idea it was this even.

well, 2008 is a convenient number. LSU had won the last 6 games prior to 2008

Nope, I'm wrong. Gave up 50 to Arkansas, but Kentucky wasn't 50.

I remember Nutt calling a sweet fake punt early in the game and then calling a fake field goal later in the game. Since 08 what is the Rebels record against Louisiana State? It has to be pretty even.

4-4 actually

but before that....yikes
