By the way...I'm including the '93 SEC Championship Game in my highlight package as I want every championship and bowl game in my highlight collection. So be expecting that game to be posted in about a week or so.

That 2008 Florida team is one of the best college football teams I've ever seen. It might even be the best.
But, as noted by others, i don't think that particular game is a very good example of "going in dry".

After the game, Aaron Hernandez celebrated by murdering four people. It was a slow night. He was tired.

Still the most heartbreaking loss in my lifetime because of what it meant at the time. Of course, had I known what was about to happen over the next four years it wouldn't have hurt as much. Alabama's streak of winning at least one SEC title every decade was on the line and I didn't think we would make it the next year. Glad it worked out

And remember this is without Percy Harvin, seriously that team was so, so stacked.

I honestly thought Bama under Saban that year would've been a 10-2 type team, but capable of getting to ATL that year. That 2008 team, despite the last 2 losses, was pretty damn good.
The wins vs CLEM and @UGA were really impressive.
I had a ton of respect for that Bama team that year
