2003 Alabama vs. Georgia Highlights

I'm back with my highlights (much to the chagrin of the majority of people here). Anyways...you'll love this one as it features Alabama being blown away by a superior Georgia team. The score was 30-3 by the halfway point of the second quarter. Alabama still managed to make it look competitive, in the end losing by a score of 37-23. The game was never in doubt though. Georgia raped us.

Many great memories from that one.
-most points ever scored on alabama in a half in history
-we put out both brodie croyle and spencer pennington (thomas david and odell thurman), bringing in brandon avalos as the 3rd stringer
-kregg lumpkin at a super truck in the 2nd quarter
-I was in HS and one of my female alabama friends claimeed that on north campus people threw rocks at her family. One of my male friends (one of my best friends actually, which is why this was so perplexing) claimed that fans pushed over a baby stroller with a baby inside it.
-one of the last games we ever had the red G at midfield. We painted it black for the 03 UK game to honor vince dooley and it's been black ever since.
Overall just a tremendous day. We truly dominated.

btw, I think it's truly admirable (I know there's no way in hell I'd be cut out for it) to compile these highlight reels of games your team loses. Kudos.

We were a FG kicking machine in'03 Billy Bennett kicked 31 freaking FG's(SEC record)... That was the 1st year I heard CMR called Field Goal Jesus...

I'm just going through every Alabama season from 1990 onward and compiling highlights from each season. I have 11 of the 13 games from the 2003 season available to me and 7 of those games are losses. I can't helped that we sucked. When I finally get into the Saban Era you will see more wins than losses.

Will do. I plan on (begrudgingly) pleasing the Ole Miss fans on this board here in the next couple of days with the '03 game.
