I remember Dominick Davis - he had such a promising career in the NFL. Sad about his injury :(

I vaguely remember that Taaaahd victory - the only victory against LSU in 8 tries from 2000 to 2007, and one of only 3 over LSU in 12 years from 2000-2011.

Wasn't this the game that, prior to it, there was some rumor that Saban was speaking ill of Alabama? And that Fran refused to shake his hand because of it?

Yeah supposedly Saban made some snide remarks about Bama after the preceding game and how they got off lightly with their sanctions. It was all circulated via message boards and email and was probably bullshite.
And I'll echo what someone else said in this thread, that was my most miserable experience in Tiger Stadium. That 02 team really went off the rails after Mauck got hurt.

The thing that I remember most about that game...how all of the Bama fans were saying what a bitch Saban was and how he'd never be "Bama material." Shows ya how things change.

Geez thanks so much for posting this. Worst freaking game I've been to in Tiger Stadium. All I remember is that we got killed and it was freezing cold.
What's funny is that I remember a lot of Bama fans saying how overrated Nick Saban was after this game.

I was sitting in the nosebleeds that game. Coldest I've ever been at a sporting event.
