There are a bunch of posters over there whom believe Tennessee is better than UF in midseason in most years.

I don't know that pushing it back to 2nd SEC game is enough to matter but Tennessee is often better midseason than earlier in the year but that's a belief based on the Fulmer Era and even prior to the Fulmer Era. Who knows what's to come now? I've never heard anyone really say that UT is better than UF midseason just that UT is better midseason than at the start of the season (ironically under Doolz we were better in openers then Dooley had time to give them a few 'pep talks' and they'd lose all morale for the rest of the season).

Its October 4th next year in Knoxville. For reference, Florida played Arkansas this year during that weekend, 2 weeks after the Tennessee game.

When is it? For as long as I can remember yall always play in september, which I look forward to.

They switched it. Now we play UGA as our first conference game. Then the week after UF.

Sept. 27 at Georgia * Athens, Ga.
Oct. 4 Florida * Knoxville

Oh..well I mean that's not THAT late

But from what the poster above said UT is gonna have a hell of a 3 game stretch. Probably hurts us some, definitely helps UF.

. 2001 UF is perhaps the most talented UF team ever.

That was my favorite UF team to watch. I loved that offense. A lot of people forget about them because they don't have anything to their name other then an Orange Bowl trophy. That was the only loss by UF that has ever legitimately made me depressed. I don't know if we would of beat 01 Miami but if we got in a shootout with them, I know we had a chance.

Sad but unfortunately true

I can't quit rereading that sentence and it makes no sense to me but it's totally true

Yeah, I thought about editing it for grammar/clarity but then I got lazy. Sorry. I figured those who knew Dooley would know whether I bothered to or not.

Dooley's effect of players can be summarized by what he put on the doors for them to see everyday, "Opportunity is Nowhere."
