you obviously don't know shite about Mexicans. they don't adopt American ways. and here in Houston, ALL schools are Mexican schools. anglos, blacks and Asians are the minority.

Don't forget this: You'll have to get your butthole refit for that giant Texas shaft that's required for membership. There's a reason it's called the Big 12.

21) Ark in Big-12 becomes a somewhat legit player..and not Perennial Overrated Choker/SEC Bottom-Feeder.

If Arkmart leaves the SEC, will their clothing line revenue take a hit? Would their biggest consumers (uat fans) retaliate?

I just don't get how The Woodlands is relevant to AR joining the Big 12.

why is Arkansas playing road games in Atlanta?

Or Birmingham, or NOLA?

I think we might have hit on the reason Arkansas feels like leaving the SEC. They've been showing up in the wrong damned cities for away games for 22 years. That's gotta be frustrating.

Ku is also AAU. B12 actually has a slightly higher percentage of AAU than SEC if you do the math.

Both conferences are way too strong academically for the Piggies. They should start a new conference called the Big Dumbarses, invite WV, OK st, TTech and a few other peers.

AAU is overblown. It's a perfectly nice distinction to have, but people make far too much of it's value. I attended two AAU universities and one non-AAU and, trust me, the difference in educational quality has virtually nothing to do with the AAU status. If Vanderbilt were stripped of the AAU designation tomorrow, it would still be a top-notch university. If Nebraska's AAU status were restored, it -- and Kansas -- would still be comparable to the bottom half of the SEC, educational quality-wise (before you ask, I'd place UGA, UF, Bama, Auburn, Vanderbilt, TAMU, and Missouri above either of them, and at least three of those are non-AAU member institutions.) I'm not knocking the whole AAU thing; I'm just saying that using it as a bragging right should be done in extreme moderation unless you truly understand all that it implies...and what it doesn't actually imply.

That's because you're not too bright and have the sense of humor of a stale loaf of bread. The answer is located somewhere in these 2 paragraphs from wikipedia.

quote:

As of 2010, there were 93,847 people. The racial makeup was 90.8% White, 2.3% Black, 0.3% Native American, 4.9% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, and 0.2% Other, and 1.5% from two or more races. Hispanics or Latino of any race were 12.3% of the population.

As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 55,649 people, 19,881 households, and 15,546 families.[21] The population density was 2,328.4 people per square mile (900.5/km²).There were 21,014 housing units at an average density of 897.7 per square mile (346.6/km²). The racial makeup was 92.36% White, 1.75% Black, 0.29% Native American, 2.80% Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander, 1.43% from other races, and 1.32% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 28% of the population.

You missed the point. You know Jamaica is not in the SEC, right?
