The AP Poll was around before the BCS started and is still around, while the BCS is now defunct.

Sounds like USC got the more valuable piece of the national championship.

That should get the ball rolling.

Fun night I was there. After the 1990's never thought I would see LSU playing for a national championship

Imagine you did not attend the last time Arkansas played in a football national championship game.

What is up with all time high scoring Oklahoma teams sucking in the national championship? Florida did the same thing 5 years later.

I know the early 00s were a crazy time but its still insane looking back that New Line Cinema convinced the Louisiana State legislature to make a hobbit the coach of the Tigers to promote the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

The best part of this game was when BGB became pissy with the female interviewer going to the locker room at halftime. She asked him how the OU offense was going to be able to move the ball against the #1 ranked LSU defense. He shot back......... we're the #1 scoring defense in the nation and walked off.
