Since tourney expansion, teams winning the first two games have an 81% chance of reaching the Super.

Not really surprising. Just from a statistical standpoint, if you assume equal teams then you have a 50/50 shot of winning any game. If you win your first two, you only have to win 1 of 2 to advance. Statistically, that gives you a 75% chance of winning. That is assuming even teams. Obviously, teams that win the first 2 games of a 4 team double elimination tournament should be at least even or better than whoever they play in the final. That probability also ignores the fact that the other team in the finals has already played a game that day.
