Absolutely not going to happen. No connection to UF, but I would love him and Michigan would absolutely have a conniption fit.

So 4 lines after writing that Foley wants an offensive minded coach, your first target would be a defensive coach?

The Gainesville Sun actually had McElwain's photo in the paper this morning as a potential candidate. The drawback to this is that he appears to have a $7.5M buyout clause, which is surprisingly high.

He suggested it, loves living up there

Please take Briles, so I don't have to endure annual double-digit losses any more.

For years, UF has ended up finishing second to Clemson for a number of high profile Florida offensive recruits that have gone to Clemson and turned that program around. This year, they are losing two more to Clemson who both would otherwise go to UF if they had an type of offensive system in place other than the ineptness they have out on the field under WM. if they get a well respected offensive name, they may be able to flip some of these guys in the upcoming signing class. It wouldn't surprise me if McCloud and Cain flip to UF if they get the right person in there while Clemson's offense sputters with DWatson sidelined again. I think Foleys comments are meant to keep the door open to some of these offensive recruits for 2015.

I think Rich Rod would be a great hire for UF. The guy would have all those badass Florida athletes to work with. Kinda scary.

stoops is a defensive coach, but his oklahoma teams always have run the spread and he has had some excellent offenses in his tenure. stoops favors a wide open, aggressive offensive philosophy, unlike les miles or muschamp.

i think stoops would be an excellent hire for UF
