Honestly, Arkansas' recruiting should improve with the realignment. Realignment adds two teams that are very close to Fayetteville, so we can travel well.

It should. The Jerry World game can help both the Aggies and the piggies. We want recruits looking forward to that every single year. Talking about it in class, etc. Sure OU/tu is in town, and you can talk about that all you want, but you want to see some SEC football? Let's go to Jerry World. Because if you wanna play on Sundays, the best way to get there is playing on Saturdays with a different set of three little letters on your chest. S-E-C.

Curious for honest opinions about arkansas ability to stay relevant.

Aside from Texas A&M's pictorial venture into bi curious 12th men at games I would guess Arkansas will stay relevant in the long term in the SEC.

#1) Arkansas was able to compete with A&M in the old SWC
#2) Arkansas has big money donors including JerryWorld and Wal Mart
#3) Arkansas has been in the SEC longer and is already SEC conditioned
#4) Arkansas has a better Track & Field history
#5) Arkansas has a better Basketball history
#6) Arkansas is undergoing a 300 million facilities upgrade

All that being said I think both schools still play second fiddle to Bama and LSU for at least the next decade or two.
