I remember this thrashing. We'd lost to Auburn and Bo in '84, by the score of 21-15. That's when I started hating Auburn and I remember rooting A&M to victory.
In hindsight, that really wasn't a bad loss. It was our first ever game against Auburn and it was Hatfield's first year, after Holtz had left him a depleted roster, so we were in rebuilding mode.
