Won last night and the rubber match today out west. Conference play is gonna be a whole new challenge, but I love the direction that the BaseVols are heading. Hopefully we are well on our way to being Omaha contenders again.

Watched a couple of these games online. Our lineup is pretty tough to get through. No real breaks. A ton of young guys obviously though so you never know when they may slump.
I'm still a little worried about our pitching, not much experience. But we finally have a bunch of guys with SEC arms.
SEC play will be interesting.

We're still very young and probably won't get there this year, but I wouldn't count us out on getting there in the future. We have been to Omaha 4 times in the last 20 years and Serrano has taken two different programs to the CWS before.

We have made it to Omaha in 4 out of our 6 NCAA Tournament appearances all time iirc. Pretty weird stat, but we seem to be pretty tough in the rare instances we get in.

Serrano is a legit coach. I don't think the vols go to Omaha this year, but they will probably do so at least once in the next 3

Yeah I always love pointing out that FSU has been to Omaha like 25 times and never won a title, on the other hand Oregon St. has been 4 times and won 2.
