Because where did we get "the ref benefit" tonight? Or better yet, Saturday at home against your Gators?

I have no problem conceding that UK gets a home whistle like everyone else in this conference. But when we win an even remotely close game and it's OMG IT'S THE REFS it shows just how many functionally retarded basketball "fans" we have in this conference.

Why does everyone in the league say that UK gets the ref benefit but UK fans can't see it?

Did you not watch our last game? Where was the "ref protection"?

60 of our points came from three players.

That's right, I forgot he was a Hoosier fan. That's rough.

Every other year at Rupp, the foul differential is rather large for UF in UK's favor (recent history that is). RTR can vouch for my numbers.

We need more data though. You guys are alone in thinking it doesn't happen though.

Maybe it's just perception. I wonder if their are readily available stats for foul differentials. Yes, yes, I know about the fouling late.

With a decent officiating crew I think that game turns into a 10 point OM win. Calipari's greasy wad of 100's will get him another championship at this rate.

They are the Alabama of basketball. Wonder if Cal will lobby for rule changes too?

Final hendo watch: 5 for 17. He couldn't quite make it to 35% today. He'll shoot his way out of it though.

Well apparently UGA leads the league in Free throws.

Well, that would explain their 3rd place spot now wouldn't it.

It's more than that. It's the kind of offense you run as well. Even in non-SEC games, where this alleged OMG REF bias occurs, Kentucky has a tendency to draw fouls because their guards as well as their big men take it to the basketball pretty consistently. Add to it the whole new "impeding the movement of the offensive player" and it becomes pretty easy to rack fouls up in that kind of offense. You're not going to see as many fouls in an offense that runs primarily pick and rolls when the defender gets caught up on the pick and the shot is typically unimpeded for an offensive player.

But when people bitch about things like moving screens or over the back, which damn near never get called in any college game at this point, it's fricking ridiculous. And real easy to point out who clearly hasn't watched much basketball. Especially since the rule changes.

I feel like Perez stole 3 attempts from him or he would have got 7/20. Kennedy needs to address this in practice.

I've watched them play a couple times and they try to attack the rim on every possession. You have to remember the LSU fans bitching after their game @UGA.
