Bert is such a good coach. The SEC is jealous. The 2 wins in 2 years is nothing short of amazing at a school like Arky. Congrats.

No, he polished the turd into 3-9 (0-8 SEC) and 7-6 (2-6 SEC) with one of the wins being against a team having an average year and another having a much better than average first half of their season. Really nothing to suggest that they are on the rise to more than middle of the SECW, or their usual ceiling.

Yeah, that's pretty lame. At least we've won an SEC championship and made it to the NC in the last four years. Arkansas? Hasn't won an SEC championship in the 20+ years they've been in the conference. I lived in Arkansas for 7 years and loved it; it's a great place. But all these lame Hog posters leave a bad impression of the fan base. So many of them are so defensive about their team, just like many Arkansans are defensive about the state. Damn shame.

Fortunately for Arkansas, they got LSU and Ole Miss at the perfect time. Both LSU and Ole Miss had their seasons deflated the week before, and Arkansas was clawing and fighting for their first conference win in 2 seasons. Arkansas undoubtedly wanted (and needed) those games more, and the team who wants it more usually wins. Both games at home against teams playing for nothing but a better record? Stars aligned
