I did mean the gap between Robinson and Tunsil but the same could be said about Bama and Mississippi.

Three years ago I never thought this statement would be remotely true. It's insane to think how far our program has come in such a short time.

He was talking about LT and CR

Ole Miss has got some studs but the depth still favors UA. We'll see how important that is Saturday. I'm not all that confident we can stop the pass.

Pretty sure he meant the gap between Robinson and tunsil, not bama and om
Talent gap as a whole as well is pretty small as well. We're better than them at several positions.

Bama is obviously more talented still but it's as close as it has been in the last 40-50 years.

Missed a huge part of any breakdown.....

STs will be crucial

Yep. JK Scott (Alabama punter) needs to get back to booting those 50+ yarders with hang time in this game because Alabama is going to need field position to take pressure off Coker.

I don't even want to talk about place-kicking. Alabama may be going for a few questionable 4th downs in Ole Miss territory. Could be boom or bust if that happens.

Nah... Alabama has the better LT even if tunsil plays

What do you know...your LT is a TE that got his shite pushed in by a 240 lbs true freshman....plus most pro scouts disagree with you

I'd say Bama wins mostly because it's in Tuscaloosa. It's a pretty close match-up otherwise.

The biggest thing will be if Tunsil doesn't play, if his backup is capable of stopping Bama's rush ends. I don't see Kelly getting a lot of pocket time otherwise. Considering Bama is a lot faster at LB this year than last year as well, I imagine a lot of plays designed to disrupt him and get him on the ground in a hurry; something he hasn't had to worry about all year against feeble competition.

Sean Rawlings will get that same treatment from bama this week. Better hope he doesn't have to play

Ole Miss and Alabama have played 62 times since 1894. Ole Miss has won one time in the State of Alabama, and has NEVER won back-to-back games against Bama.

Hahaha....talk about history!

Location: Bryant-Denny Stadium Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Time: 8:15 P.M.
Date: September 19th

This will be a revenge game for Alabama but Ole Miss has looked like if not the best than one of the best teams in the SEC while Choker is bogging down the Tide's offense.

QB- OLE MISS...MGK was throwing dimes out there the past two games.

WR- OLE MISS...Treadwell, Core, and Engram too much to give that to Bama.

RB- BAMA...Drake and Henry are the cornerstone of this Bama offense and while jaylan Walton is good he doesn't put up the numbers Bama's runners do.

OL- BAMA...they always have a great line

DL- PUSH...two great units for both teams.

LB- BAMA...more experience on this end with Ragland leading the way.

DB- OLE MISS...with Conner and Elston back there they bitch slap around the Tide's secondary.

Prediction: OM-28 UA-24

This is a hard one to predict because I really want to pick Bama to win this one but something keeps telling me that OM is gonna pull another upset

If Ole Miss can't run the football, they WILL NOT win this game. Even with a great passing game (which they have by the way), a one-dimensional offense becomes anemic really quick.

I think Alabama has the better receivers. If Alabama had a competent QB this team would be incredible.

Said it in the other thread and I'll say it in this one:

These position comparisons never make sense. OL doesn't got against OL. DL doesn't go against DL. WR don't got against WR, etc.

Ranking should be:

Bama QB vs. Ole Miss pass rush & secondary (Push b/c of Bama Oline giving time)
Ole Miss QB vs. Bama pass rush & secondary (Ole Miss)

Bama O-line vs. Ole Miss D-line (Bama close, but bama has edge)
Ole Miss O-line vs. Bama D-line (Bama. Not close. Bama's D-line will dominate the Ole Miss O-line)

Bama WRs/TE vs Ole Miss secondary (Push)
Ole Miss WRs/TE vs Bama secondary (Ole Miss)

Special Teams (Ole Miss - -other than punting it has to be advantage for Ole Miss. Of course, Drake may take one to the house, though.)

Coaching vs. Coaching (Bama)

Depth vs. Depth (Bama)

Bama - 4
Ole Miss - 2
Push - 2

Bama 31
Ole Miss 20

I promise I don't mean to be a homer screaming "Bama has all the best players!!!!"

I think this receiving group is the best Alabama has had under Saban. AJ or Sims wouldn't even know what to do with all of these guys under Kiffin. Coker isn't just missing deep balls. The receivers have had 5 steps on the corners on these throws. The receiving threats are everywhere.

It's going to be a close game. The winner will have the edge in the west but it is still a long season and alot can happen.

This is fair. I would argue that this is the best we have ever had though.

No they don't. Cam Robinson is better than Tunsil imo at the very least it's a push, and Bama is better at every other position on the offensive line.

So they haven't found a cure for Tunsilitis, I see
