I'm kind of sleepwalking too through this game.

Absolutely. And the benefit of that is those guys are talented enough that Cal can do that, especially in some of these conference games.

We're all just waiting for the halftime news that another player is being dismissed or has suffered a year ending injury. As it stands, we don't even have enough guys on roster to practice 5-on-5.

It would really help our cause if we could occasionally hit a fricking free throw...

Your boys have played tough considering the situation you're dealing with. Jones seems to be really stepping it up and that has to be a positive for y'all.

And taking a page out of the Roy Williams book right now in playing down to a team they should beat handedly on paper (apologies Vandy).

No need to apologize, you're quite right!

I hate saying that though. What in the world is going on in Nashville?

Oh, they play hard, they just don't have enough horses. I do REALLY like Jones, though he needs a bit more seasoning yet. Kornet is going to be good eventually too, but he has a long way to go yet.

On another note, Baylor's floor is fricking atrocious.

Best I can figure, Stallings has become less successful at hiding his inner Gene Keady over time...

So for UK at the half.

Have to play a little better defense. They've allowed some open perimeter shots they shouldn't have.

Our starters need to get their heads out of their collective asses. It's no coincidence it took guys like Polson, Hawkins, and Willis to come in to get some separation.

Randle needs to take over offensively. If it's not there (he's been triple teamed a couple times) he needs to kick it out to someone like Young for the perimeter shot. Vandy is giving it to us (Polson has hit two on good ball movement). Time to take it.

This was the closest shot I could find of it.

The basketball they have outlined at the free throw line is just ugh. Turble.

All of the good assistants are gone, so Stallings is exposed as the mediocre at best coach that he is.

That dunk. Young's first score in the game.

My man Johnson in. He may be my new favorite aside from Hawkins.

Sigh. One day we will play defense, especially in transition. One day.
